Dimension Season 3: Modded Medieval!

Dimension Season 3: Modded Medieval!

This is likely going to be a long post as we need to cover a lot of information to get you started with Modded Minecraft.

Installing the Modpack with our needed change

We are using the following pack (https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/modpacks/medieval-mc-fabric-mmc1) with one addition to allow us to play ‘offline’, so it reintroduces passwords, like we are used to on.

To install a modpack with very little hassle I recommend that you use the following application (https://www.curseforge.com/download/app). There are other applications you can use but we will not offer any support trying to get those working for you.

  1. Go to the Minecraft tab within the app, then click “Browse Modpacks”.
  2. Use the search bar and search “Medieval Mc” and it should look something like this:
  3. The Modpack that we want is the first one that shows up “Medieval MC [FABRIC] 1.19.2", click install.
  4. Installing could take some time as it will download, unpack everything where it needs to be, be patient with it.
  5. Once it has downloaded, please launch the pack, to the main Minecraft menu, your first load will take a while so go get a cup of tea.
  6. Before you’ll be able to join the server you need to add an additional mod to ensure you can play on the server
  • Once downloaded, go to “My Modpacks” and click on Medieval MC, this will show you more information about the pack.
  • At the top click on the 3 dots and then click profile options, it should look like this
  • Once on this menu check allow content management, it will allows us to now add the mod we need.

  • Now under mods click the puzzle piece
  • Now search for “easyauth” and click install, once installed you can click the Minecraft icon on the left to go back to the beginning and launch the modpack!

Here is a guide for you on how to install modpacks within the launcher if you want more information (https://support.curseforge.com/en/support/solutions/articles/9000196984-installing-modpacks) or if you want to use a different launcher (https://github.com/LunaPixelStudios/Medieval-MC/wiki/Performance-Guide).

Joining the server

To be able to join the server you need to join on the following IPplay.sentinelcraft.net:25700 It can take a little bit of time to load you in.

You will be prompted to pick a race do take the time to pick this as you will not be able to change it easily afterwards. We will not be changing races for members who decided they have ‘picked too quickly and wants to change it’.

Key Information

  1. Most things have been modified and changed, the biggest change for early game players will be hostile mobs (they are much tougher than vanilla Minecraft) and food.
  2. There are many more structures around the map, explore and setup home in one if needed?
  3. Think about teaming up with others to navigate and experiment all the new features/changes.
  4. We may not know how to do things within the pack, make use of google.
  5. Hosting a modded server is new for us, so please be patient with us if there is lag or server side problems.

The Rules

We will be following all standard Sentinelcraft Rules (https://sentinelcraft.net/wiki/serverrules/general)!

Failure to follow the rules and disturbance of gameplay will result in either temporary bans or full on bans from the modded server due to the nature of it. These are non-appealable. We reserve the right to extend punishments onto the main (vanilla) server if the offense is grave enough.

Have fun and enjoy the game!
